Woman shoots a teen thug robbing her home. Thug’s family asks a shockingly SICK question, how else is suppose to get money? A Miami homeowner shot an intruder who planned to rob her, leaving him dead.
This should have been an open and shut case or so the police thought it was.
The family of the intruder killed in the Miami robbery did something shocking. They BLAMED the homeowner stating she had no right to shoot him for robbing her home.
17-year-old Trevon Johnson robbed the woman’s house and it was the thing he would ever do. He was shot and killed during that attempted robbery. Johnson’s family spoke out against the woman who shot him, for killing their relative, stating that it was absurd.
“You have to look at it from every child’s point of view that was raised in the hood. You have to understand, how he gonna get his money to have clothes to go to school? You have to look at it from his point of view,” Nautika Harris, Johnson’s cousin, stated.
It is ridiculous that this cousin would even assert a claim like that as if what Johnson was doing was actually legal and respectable. Somehow the only way he could get clothes for school was to rob people? Now that’s absurd.
Her illogical “logic” was that if you live in the hood you have the right to steal from people because your family does not know how to provide for themselves. This is just delusional.
Harris then added: “I don’t care if she has her gun license or any of that. That is way beyond the law, way beyond. He was not supposed to die like this. He had a future ahead of him. Trevon had goals. He was a funny guy, very big on education, loved learning.”
He was also, a thief, apparently. But that doesn’t matter, I guess.
It’s sad to say, but Trevon learned the ultimate lesson that day and we hope others can learn from this. It is never okay no matter the circumstance, to steal from another person.
Kudos to the homeowner for protecting herself because she could have easily been killed or hurt if the situation escalated.
