After Wal-Mart carelessly put Black Lives Matter and Antifa merchandise on their website for purchase, the public fought back and their outrage helped win a battle against hate in America.
In this retail giant’s latest misstep, they had Antifa merchandise available to buy on their website.
They did this claiming to shoppers that this was the perfect way to express oneself against the far right.
Wal-Mart has a third party vendor, TEE Bangers LLC, that seems to be responsible for the addition of the clothing items to the Wal-Mart inventory.
Now not only has Wal-Mart pulled the clothing from their website, but so have TEE Bangers.
According to Breitbart, “‘Antifa’ clothing is no longer available on Walmart’s website as of Saturday afternoon. The clothing’s third-party manufacturer, TEE Bangers LLC, also appears to have pulled the line promoting the far-leftist group whose activities were “formally classified” by the Obama Administration “as domestic terrorist violence.”
Breitbart also claims that TEE Bangers has sponsors such as Marvel, Disney, Coca-Cola, and DC Comics along with more.
This is not the first time the mega retailer has been caught selling products like this.
Recently, there was quite the public outcry over the Black Lives Matter merchandise that was being featured and sold on their website. Shirts that had “Bulletproof” on the front were the ones at the center of the controversy. Finally, the product was removed from circulation.
Taking it a step further., Wal-Mart also apparently removed a book from its inventory authored by former Occupy Wall Street organizer Mark Bray. His book, “Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook” was taken down and is no longer available for purchase.
TEE Bangers also offers a wide variety of political shirts on their website. Including slogans like “Black Power” and “I love Fidel Castro”.
Obviously the removal of merchandise that promotes domestic terrorism is a step in the right direction. Americans still have a voice and they have clearly been heard.
