So….Remember When Obama Campaign Was Busted For Campaign Violations? The Punishment? $375,000 Fine, NO JAIL TIME

If you closely examine the history of the Democratic Party you will find that they like hiding their history.

For example, every single thing that they accuse Donald Trump of they have actually done things that were worse.

This past Tuesday, Michael Cohen, the attorney that was fired by President Donald Trump earlier this year, gave himself up to the FBI after multiple news outlets reported that federal prosecutors had offered him a plea deal to which he accepted.

Cohen admitted that he had violated specific campaign finance laws when it came to paying Stormy Daniels.

He stated that he gave the porn actress more than $100,000 to keep her story quiet.

She later violated the agreement.

The left and the mainstream media was thrilled that this might mean the end for the Trump administration.

The thing is that Trump’s predecessor is guilty of a whole lot worse.

Back in 2013, Politico’s Maggie Haberman reported about the corrupt illegal campaign reporting violations against Obama’s campaign.

Politico reported that the Obama campaign was issued a fine of $375,000:

President Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign was fined $375,000 by the Federal Election Commission for campaign reporting violations — one of the largest fees ever levied against a presidential campaign, POLITICO has learned.

The fine — laid out in detail in FEC documents that have yet to be made public — arose from an audit of the campaign, which was published in April.

In 2013, the Washington Post reported on the matter, downplaying what the Obama campaign had done with the headline, “Obama campaign to pay $375,000 fine for omitting some donor’s names in 2008.”

The Post reported that the campaign had agreed to pay the $375,000 fine, made out to the Federal Election Commission. The fine was one of the largest that the agency has ever issued.

The fine was put into place shortly after the campaign’s books were audited, showing that they had failed to link identities of donors of large sums of money to the donations prior to the 2008 election.
