Joe Biden’s Brother Drops Some Truth On Why The Family Voted TRUMP!
When it comes to politics, you can have families that have the same general, beliefs on what they all feel are moral issues but at the same time vote differently.
That’s perfectly fine, voting the way that you do because it’s the way your dad did is kind of silly anyway. Always listen to everyone and then make your own decision. Be informed about everything as much as you possibly can.
There’s been stories about couples that have been together for decades that have voted opposite of each other for every election that they have been married for up to and including dog catcher.
There’s been times where people that have voted Republican voted Democrat at one point or another because the Democrat offered a better idea and vice versa.
If someone is a bad candidate, you don’t vote for them because that’s what you think you are supposed to do. You vote for who you think the best person for the job is.
Joe Biden’s younger brother Frank Biden said that not all members of the family were on board with Hillary Clinton in 2016 so they cast their vote for Donald Trump.
Biden told The Palm Beach Post the family members felt “slighted” by the Democratic presidential nominee’s campaign strategy. He said he believes his brother would have been able to pick up states the former secretary of state lost had he run.
“We never would have lost Pennsylvania, and all my relatives — the Finnegan family — who voted for Donald Trump because they felt slighted by Hillary and her campaign,” Biden said. “We never would have not gone to Michigan as the campaign decided not to do because they felt entitled to the votes of those people.
“Assumptive politics is losing politics,” he added. “You have to work for every single vote and people have to know individually, collectively and severally that you care about them, that they’re important.”
Biden told the paper he believes his brother should run in 2020 and that he is encouraging him to do so, but that his sister and wife ultimately hold more sway.
