The List Of NFL Players Who Protested American Flag Last Night Spells Disaster For NFL’s Future

The NFL players protest of the National Anthem hit a lot of people in so many different ways that it’s almost hard to count.

Last year, when all of this was really starting to get widespread, I had to spend two stints in a VA hospital in the month of October to deal with a pretty serious issue, although thank God I was ambulatory.

I would walk the halls of the hospital to get as much of the exercise as I try to get accomplished(and to try to get a real cup of coffee, but that’s besides the point) so you would walk past a lot of the patient rooms; many of which had their televisions on.

Both times that I was in the hospital happened to be on Sundays and I walked past what seemed like a dozen or so rooms on my floor those days. On not one occasion did I hear one person watching an NFL game.

On the college days, you would absolutely see people watching the college games, but the NFL has been excommunicated from the lives of so many people and rightfully so that it’s hard to believe that Roger Goodell can waste what little business sense that he has by allowing these protests to continue.

The very spoiled and highly paid athletes just county help but put the future of the league in harms way as they decided to throw everything down the drain with a cheap political stunt during the preseason games.

With the preseason underway, the player protests over police brutality and racial injustice are back on the forefront.

The NFL protests have continued despite multiple police discussions during the offseason.

Today we have an unfortunate list of the teams and players who decided to protest during the national anthem on Thursday’s preseason games.

According to subjectpolitics:

Steelers vs. Eagles

The Eagles’ Malcolm Jenkins raised a fist during the anthem. Chris Long placed his left hand on Jenkins’ shoulder.De’Vante Bausby also raised his fist.

Michael Bennett walked out onto the field after the anthem started.

Saints vs. Jaguars

The Jaguars’ Jalen Ramsey,Telvin Smith, Leonard Fournette and T.J. Yeldon were not on the field with the rest of the team for the national anthem.

Buccaneers vs. Dolphins

The Dolphins’ Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson kneeled during the national anthem.

Dolphins DE Robert Quinn raised his fist in protest during the anthem.

49ers vs. Cowboys

49ers wide receiver Marquise Goodwin raised his first before the game.

President Trump immediately called them out for their scandalous behavior as did most of America.
