What CNN LIED About Hannity Doing ON THE AIR Is Absolutely Inexcusable!
I remember the very first time I ever handled a firearm that packed more punch than a BB gun. I was fourteen going on fifteen, visiting my aunt and uncle in Idaho. Now, when I was told we were going to be going out to a target range to do some shooting I was really excited.
I blindly assumed that we were going to be getting right to shooting. However, before I even PICKED UP a firearm my uncle and his instructor friend put me through a couple of hours of safety instruction followed by at least an hour of what they called dry firing to make sure that I knew as much as possible about handling the firearm BEFORE the projectile was put in it. Bottom line, people that truly know firearms, it’s not so much about how to handle them; it’s about how NOT to handle them.
What do you get when you mix bulls*it news with liberal anti-gun hysteria? This sounds like the set-up for a joke but unfortunately it’s some very serious media bias. The answer to that question, which is not a punchline is: CNN. The leading purveyors of bullshit and bias put out a false story today accusing conservative host Sean Hannity of pulling a gun on liberal commentator Juan Williams. It’s completely fake and the worst part about it is that CNN even proves they are lying in the body of the report.
Dylan Byers of CNN put out this headline on Thursday:Sources: Sean Hannity once pulled a gun on Juan Williams
After reading that, you are probably thinking Sean Hannity is a crazy right-wing gun-nut and possibly a racist because he is white and Williams is black. The beginning of the article makes it seem worse: Still, Hannity’s version of entertainment can go too far. Last year, after ending one of his many spirited on-air arguments with liberal contributor Juan Williams, Hannity pulled out a gun and pointed it directly at Williams, according to three sources with knowledge of the incident. He even turned on the laser sight, causing a red dot to bob around on Williams’ body. (Hannity was just showing off, the sources said, but the unforeseen off-camera antic clearly disturbed Williams and others on set.)
Now here’s where things get complicated, and what I mean is that this CNN goofball proves what a lying sack of crap he is. Hannity never pulled a gun on Williams or even pointed it at him in any manor.
First we have the Fox News take on this: “Sean Hannity has been trained in firearm safety since he was 11 years old and has a license to carry a gun in five states, including New York. The situation was thoroughly investigated and it was found that no one was put in any danger,” said Fox News in a statement.
Then we have Sean Hannity’s version of events: “While discussing the issue of firearms, I showed my good friend Juan Williams my unloaded firearm in a professional and safe manner for educational purposes only. Every precautionary procedure that I have been trained in since the age of 11 was followed. I’ve had a conceal carry permit in five states for all of my adult life. Any other interpretation of this is outright false reporting,” said Hannity.
And finally, lets hear from Juan Williams, the alleged victim: “This incident is being sensationalized — everything was under total control throughout and I never felt like I was put in harm’s way. It was clear that Sean put my safety and security above all else and we continue to be great friends,” said Williams.
Okay, so basically Hannity showed his gun to Williams in a safe and innocent way. He didn’t pull a gun on Williams, he didn’t point a gun at Williams, and he didn’t threaten Williams in any way.
