They Couldn’t Wait For The GRAMMYS To Start To Begin HATEFULLY BASHING The President!
I used to watch the Grammy’s every year with my wife. Key words being used to. I haven’t sat and watched a whole show in a long time.
I just cannot stand it anymore, I am one of those people that when I want to be entertained I don’t want to hear any political crap from the people that are supposed to sing and accept awards.
Liberals have no idea what one of their key words of tolerance actually means. It partly means dealing with things you don’t necessarily like. For example, when I had to take a plane home when I was on leave in the military I had to deal with a cramped seat on occasion. Didn’t mean that I protested outside the damn airport.
Welp. That didn’t take long. Things got political pretty much immediately after the Grammys started. I don’t know why these celebrities feel the need to lecture Americans every time these award shows happen but here’s Jennifer Lopez doing that very thing.
From Washington Examiner: Jennifer Lopez called on musicians “to go to work” against President Trump, saying their work can bring healing to “civilization.”
“At this particular point in history, our voices are needed more than ever,” Lopez said before introducing the Grammy nominees for best new artist. “As Toni Morrison once said, this is precisely the time when artists go to work. There is no time for despair, no place for self-pity, no need for silence, and no room for fear. We do language. That is how civilizations heal.”
Clearly a shot at Trump. Shortly before this comment, there was another Trump dig from James Corden. He has a TV show or something.
From Fox News: Corden took the stage and after a purposefully messy entrance, “The Late Late Show” host began to rap about the show and the stars in the audience. At the end of his rap Corden turned political, sharing a message of unity and quipping about President Donald Trump.
“…With president Trump we don’t know what comes next,” he said mid-rap. “We can survive by sticking together.”
You know that sticking together means unity right?
Meaning, you stick together with people that you disagree with politically.
