There’s One Key Fact The MSM Is Blacking Out About The Florida Airport Shooting…
If there has been one thing that I have learned over the years it is that a well placed sign is never going to stop a criminal.
For example, I was once in a bank that had been robbed not too long before. There was a sign on the door that asked that people not wear hats and sunglasses into the bank on account of that’s how people that rob banks will try to disguise themselves.
As it turns out, the person that robbed the bank was wearing a hat and sunglasses. What’s all the more strange about it is I had been in that bank two days before the robbery and wouldn’t you know it that same sign was there before…
Police are now investigating the shooting at the Florida airport in which five people were killed and six were wounded. They have a suspect, Esteban Santiago, in custody, and have questioned him extensively. But what they know at this point is that Santiago had the gun he used in the attack in his checked luggage on his flight that originated out of Anchorage, Alaska.
Once Santiago arrived in Florida, he was then able to retrieve the gun and shoot at the victims in the baggage claim area. This despite the fact that he was in a gun-free zone.
From Breitbart: Florida law designates an airport “passenger terminal” as one of the many places that law-abiding citizens are not allowed to carry a gun for self-defense.
The Florida Senate’s list of Florida Statutes states that a “[concealed carry] license issued under this section does not authorize any person to openly carry a handgun or carry a concealed weapon or firearm into…the inside of the passenger terminal and sterile area of any airport, provided that no person shall be prohibited from carrying any legal firearm into the terminal, which firearm is encased for shipment for purposes of checking such firearm as baggage to be lawfully transported on any aircraft.”
So while none of the law-abiding victims were able to defend themselves, someone disregarding the law was not dissuaded by the ‘gun-free zone.’
